Double E-shaped toroidal metasurface with high Q-factor Fano resonance and electromagnetically induced transparency

A double E-shaped toroidal dipole metasurface is designed with the high Q-factor Fano and classical electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) phenomena in microwave frequency range. With introduction of an asymmetric structure, sharp resonance can be excited acquired a quite 134 at lower 4.58 GHz. It numerically experimentally demonstrated that singularity response construction caused by intensive dipole. In addition, due to destructive interference between electric dipole, transmission peak EIT reach 0.95 50 10.18 By calculating comparing radiated power multipoles, enhanced further verified. The planar metamaterial simple may have many possible applications moment generators, sensing, slow-light devices.
